Bio

Benjamin Newman is an expert in improving the efficiency and quality of global technology operations. He currently works as the Global IT Quality Improvement Programs Lead for Schneider Electric, where he executes high-value IT optimization and defect reduction activities, deploys tools and methodologies for problem management, and coaches staff on digital quality culture and disciplines.

Through his varied experience and education, he has acquired knowledge on a wide range of operational and technical topics ranging from manufacturing and supply chain, to IT operations and machine learning. He uses this transversal knowledge to solve complex problems in digital environments.

Interests of his include emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing), sustainability, technology leadership, and diversity.

Mr. Newman holds a bachelors of science in industrial engineering and a masters degree in information systems management, as well as credentials in Data Science and Six Sigma. He is a member of the Harvard Alumni Association and contributes to the MIT CIO Symposium.
